Astronomy Day!

The Caldecott Medal for illustration was awarded to
A Sick Day for Amos McGee illustrated by Erin E. Stead
and honors to Stolen by Lucy Christopher, Please Ignore Vera Dietz by A.S. King, Revolver by Marcus Sedgwick, and Nothing by Janne Teller

January Closures
All the county Libraries will be closed on January 17 for Martin Luther King Day, and on January 31 for a staff day. Book Drops will be open, and our website is available 24/7/365!

Happy New Year!
Welcome to 2011! We have some fun stuff going on in January, so be sure to mark your calendars.
Monday Nights will be fun: on Jan. 10 we will host a Magic Show, and on Jan. 24 a Puppet Show. Both shows start at 7:00pm, so you won't want to be late!
We are also starting Storytimes again on Jan. 19 and 20, at 10:15, 11:15, and 1:15 (both days)
The Music, Music, Music and Spanish Immersion Playtimes are starting up again as well, on Monday and Tuesday mornings at 11:00. Registration is required for both programs, and you can sign up on our website.
